According to our local expert, Martin Muller, Pied-billed Grebe incubation
ranges from 23-27 days. Courtesy of Martin's lecture to the SAS Master
Birding class last fall. ;)

Subject: [Tweeters] Pied-Billed Grebe incubation period?

Tina blade and I paddled around the Washington Park Arboretum Sunday. We
noted three Pied-Billed Grebe nests with eggs, along the shore of the island
that is northwest of the north end of E Foster Island Road. Photos at

Does anyone on the list know the incubation period for the eggs? I'd love to
get some photos around hatching time.
