Don't worry, Jeff! My girlfriend (not a birder but very sharp eyes)
called that one out when we were coming back from her brother's soccer
game. I didn't see it so we went to the next exit turned around and
came back to find out that it was indeed plastic. I smile every time I
drive past that off-ramp.

My reported sighting of a Great Horned Owl in Chehalis was an error.
It turns out I was duped by a fake owl on top of the light pole at the
reported location. Oh well!
