Well, you have to be careful calling a 'Bubo plastica'
..

Bob Stallcop and I were birding the park at the mouth
of the Wenatchee river last winter, and he called a
Great-horned Owl on a deck railing in an office
building next to the park. I barely galnced up,
assuming it was a plastic Owl.
Then it Blinked at me!

There was a Great-horned Owl, sitting on a railing of
an office building, at about 10:00 in the morning,
actively flying around and hunting!

Never assume with a Bubo plastica !!!
