Hello Tweeters,
Coming home yesterday from 5 day trip to the Eastern part of Washington,I
stopped at the famous County Line Ponds near Othello, the time was 11.30
AM.He was feeding heavy in the smaller pond in the marshy area. This bird
seems to going in to breeding plumage, since the back is all freckled,it also
seems quite brownish in color.I took some photos what I will publish on a
later date. There also where still 5 Wilson Phalaropes and 4 Red -necked
Phalaropes.Amazing amount of breeding Avocets 19 with 25 Black -necked
Stilts. What a way to end a great weekend.
A report from Wenas and Washtacna will follow.

Cheers Ruth Sullivan
