Tweets - I duplicated some of Gene's trip this morning, with similar
results, though I skipped Stillwater. I had BLUE-WINGED TEAL and CINNAMON
TEAL at both Sikes Lake and on West Snoqualimie River Rd. Also along WSRR
were at least 7 WILSON'S PHALAROPE, and at least one of the WESTERN KINGBIRD
pair.

Matt, Tweets,

After missing them early Monday morning at the Fill I lucked out this
morning as a pair of WILSON'S PHALAROPES flushed and flew off north along
West Snoqualmie River Rd. (WSRR) at about 1.5 miles north of the
Woodinville-Duvall highway (W-D hwy). Also, a pair of WESTERN KINGBIRDS is
nest building on perhaps the same transformer as they used last year, at 1.0
miles north of the W-D hwy on the WSRR, in front of an apparently abandoned
house with a green roof. A SORA and a WILSON'S SNIPE were calling from a
grassy pond at 1.5 mi n along this road and there were also AMERICAN
KESTRELS and NORTHERN HARRIERS in attendance.

Down at Stillwater I ran into Rachel Lawson and Katrina from PA. WILLOW
FLYCATCHERS are in but barely. I heard two in the distance and Rachel saw
one further south along the Snoqualmie Valley Trail. In summer here they are
a dime a dozen. Two singing male LAZULI BUNTINGS were on the trail to the
river plus the BANK SWALLOWS are in in force, at least 50 at their colony.
The river was high. BLUE-WINGED and CINNAMON TEALS at Sikes Lake near the
"Carnation Farms" and in flooded fields along West Snoqualmie River Rd. nw
of Duvall.

Hi Tweets -
This morning at the Montlake Fill [UBNA] in Seattle, a Wilson's Phalarope
was on the main pond.

Blue-winged Teal were on Shovellers Pond, and Cinammon Teal were all over
the place.

Best,
