There was a Brown Pelican at the Kingston ferry terminal yesterday afternoon
from 17:30 to 18:00. It was fishing the north side of the terminal, working
north into the wind with the sun behind it, and diving frequently. I watched
for about 20 minutes and every dive resulted in a catch. When it got a few
hundred meters away it would fly back to the terminal and start working
north again. It was still doing this when the ferry left and I lost sight of
it.
