Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report
was made Thursday May 29. If you have anything to add call Harry Nehls at

A female HOODED WARBLER was at Malheur NWR Headquarters over the weekend. A
COMMON GRACKLE was at Frenchglen, A BLACK-AND-WHITE and a BLACKPOLL WARBLER
were at Fields, and a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at Fields and at
Frenchglen. On May 25 a GLOSSY IBIS was on the refuge along the Central
Patrol Road just south of the Buena Vista junction.

A HOODED WARBLER was reported May 26 at Mt. Tabor Park in Portland. Three
GREAT-TAILED GRACKLES are now at a farm south of Burns Junction in Harney
County. On May 26 a ROSE-BREASTED GROSBEAK was at a feeder near Depoe Bay.

On May 23 about 30 BLACK SWIFTS were near Brookings. The next day a
MOCKINGBIRD was in Brookings. On May 26 a male CASSIN?S FINCH was at a
feeder south of Newport. A BLACK TERN was in Lincoln City May 23.

A BLACK TERN was at Sauvie Island May 26. On May 24, a CHAT, RED-EYED VIREO,
and an EASTERN KINGBIRD were at the Sandy River Delta near Troutdale. A
SWAINSON?S HAWK was at the Portland Airport May 25. A LARK SPARROW was there
the next day. A BOHEMIAN WAXWING was reported May 23 in Monmouth.

On May 24 a flock of 26 WHITE-FACED IBIS flew over Rickreall. BLACK-NECKED
STILTS and WHITE-FACED IBIS were at Duckflat Road southeast of Salem May 26.
On May 23 a flock of IBIS was in Eugene. On May 24 a CHAT and an
ASH-THROATED FLYCATCHER were near Brownsville.

On May 26 several BLACK SWIFTS were over Odell Lake along Hwy 58 in the
Cascades. A MOCKINGBIRD was in Frenchglen May 22. On May 24 a LEAST
FLYCATCHER was along Pike Creek in the Alvord Basin.
