Hi Tweeters,

Nothing rare today although fun just watching all the birds from the back
deck:

Pine Siskin 145 (22 on the thistle feeder at one time) - 145 in view at one
time and then probably other southbound flocks. Total could be more than
300. One siskin landed on my head as I was watching the feeders!
Cedar Waxing 35 (getting late for these)
Evening Grosbeak 3
Purple Finch 2
American Robin 42
Cackling type Geese 290
Canada Goose 15

a single Hermit Thrush yesterday was a new Year Yard bird.
