Hi!
I just noticed a whirlwind of activity on my Mountain Ash, and counted close to 30 Robins on this rather small tree and nearby ones, not only feeding on the berries, but tossing some in a rather odd fashion. As I watched, I notice I again am hosting a Slate Colored Junco, and had a Ruby Crowned Kinglet flitting about in a highly excited state, as if to say, Woo Hoo! (Of course they always act that way!)
I have yet been honoured with the Varied Thrush, at least to my knowledge.
I am so glad I planted all these fruit bearing trees, and allowed the vegetation to grow wild along the fence line and side yard. I am also glad my flowering Cherry tree has issues, it keeps everyone happy.
I have noticed that either my oddball Chickadee has developed some darker feathering on its crown, or maybe I have yet another odd ball bird. Shouldn't it keep the very white head it had a month ago?

Have a great Day!!!!
