It is likely the same bird that Joyce found there last winter. When did you
photograph a rough-leg there before? Could be we have a bird of fixed
habits.

The Rough-legged Hawk continues to be seen in the Samammish Valley. If it
isn't perched on the waterwheel, it's on one of the power poles that borders
the sod farm on NE 124th St. that runs between Totem Lake and the
Redmond-Woodinville Rd.
