Joe and Tweeters,
There are only a few records for Canyon Wren from Skamania County
and most of those have come from Beacon Rock. Both Andy Stepniewski and I
had them there in the Spring but this is the first winter bird that I
heard of from Beacon Rock. Where on the rock did you find the bird?

Startled to hear its call in such a green, wet place, I found a Canyon
Wren on Beacon Rock this morning. Does anyone know if this is usual?
Anyone know if they breed there?
