Hi Cheryl,



I have seen a Barred Owl at Green Lake in Seattle recently, and heard
reports of same from others. I saw it around noon, in late October or early
November, off of W Green Lake Dr. N. This is the area SW of the Bath House
Theatre. There is a small trail that veers S off the main loop trail. It
heads towards a point across from the small island. The owl was about 3 feet
off the ground, in the fork of a tree, just beyond a wooden fence between
the trail and the water. As usual, it was the crows that helped me find it!
