Hello Tweeters.
I stayed home today and in between writing my bird report up, I had some
good birds. This now I coming from the outside watching the female Pileated
Woodpecker on my Suet. From there he flew on the same telephone pole what he
always done,he staying least 15 minute and spitting the wood all over
looking for insect's.It been least a month since I saw the Woodpeckers and I
am happy there back.Other birds I had today ,where Two Golden-crowned
Kinglet's,a male and a female bathing for ever in my bird bath what got a
dripping system. Two male Townsend's Warblers on the Suet and Two Bewick's
Wren,lt.'s of Chickadee's both species ,Lot's of Red -breasted Nuthatches
al;so Flickers and Junco's and Towhees and 5 Stellar Jays. But after 9 years
this month having the many Anna's Hummingbirds in our yard, there was only
one bird.I can not figure out what happen.I keep my feeders full all the
time cleaning them after each fill.It been about three days that I did not
seeing all the many Hummingbirds. We had them all year long there never left
before, only there taken a break when there breeding, than it is quite. If any
of you have any input why this birds left and as I can see I got 1 male
Anna's left.

Cheers Ruth Sullivan
