Hello Tweeties,

Birds in the News is now available. It features a lovely image of a flock of Sanderlings, Calidris alba, at Bolivar Flats, Texas, by photographer Joseph Kennedy;

the most recently demystified mystery bird was a male Von der Decken's (Red Billed) Hornbill, Tockus erythrorhynchus, as all of you correctly identified -- a bird that I photographed at London Zoo's African Bird Safari;

Rick, as usual, has written an interesting analysis for identifying this bird species.

today's mystery bird(s) are now viewable, courtesy of my friends at the Indonesian Parrot Project;

This streaming video is a hilarious look at birders and bird watching that you MUST watch;
