for those who care to look at hordes of gulls on the off chance of seeing an
oddity in the bunch the time is ripe for you. for the last several days
there have been several thousand mew gulls (probably four or five thousand
swirling around like termite breeding swarms) working the flooded fields
around sikes lake (near the old carnation farm, now camp korey).
