I viewed this swan flock (just south of Remlinger) at around 11:00 AM this morning - there were 77 birds including 14 I could positively identify as immatures. While I was there a woman was walking along the road let her dog loose I believe with the intent to put the flock to flight. What is up with that kind of behavior? Later I viewed 12 swans in the big fields on the west side of Hiway 9 just south of Snohomish.

As far as other birds go I am seeing Mountain Chickadees every day and oddly enough no Black Capped. I also had a flock of about 200 Pine Siskens swarming up and down the river on Friday afternoon.
