Hi:
?
I moved to Index recently, and up here on the North Fork of the Skykomish?have many sightings of American Dippers. Also the eagles are back in force, and can be seen regularly during commuting hours.?A pair of Eagles regularly soars above Route 2 east of Monroe, and in Sultan area. Also flock of Trumpeter Swans seen on north side of Route 2 this past Saturday somewhere between Sultan and Monroe.
?
Because I used to live in Carnation, based on the reports of folks disturbing the foraging Trumpeters, I have put a call into Remlinger Farms and left a message for the owners to ask them?to put up signage regarding no harrassment, no trespassing, etc. Hopefully we will have remedy soon, and the birds can forage in peace. Trumpeters can also be seen at Tualco Loop road between W. Snoqualmie Valley Road and 203.
