Hey Tweets,
after a fast weekend on the East Side of the state, I was coming home through Selah tonight.
In a small field in east Selah, just west of Sheets road, was a mixed flock of geese. Mostly Canada, but at least 3 nice CACKLING GEESE, and a single Immature SNOW GOOSE.
Also, at Sportsmans State Park in Yakima, a nice assortment of passerines. Highlight was a small flock of BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS flying over. And a very cooperative AMERICAN BITTERN at one of the ponds.
And a River Otter ;)
And several herds of Bighorn Sheep in the Yakima Canyon at dusk.
