Subject: [Tweeters] T-Day bonanza at Myrtle Edwards

We just returned from a quick dash along Myrtle Edwards between turkey bastings. In the 20 minutes we were there, nature gave us quite a show:
- a Bald Eagle trying to evade a Peregrine Falcon nipping at its tail feathers;
- good views afterwards of the peregrine perched on the grain terminal, then soaring/flapping a bit, then half-heartedly hassling some pigeons, then perched again;
- a Eurasian Wigeon floating among American Wigeons and Surf Scoters in the shelter of a ship at the grain terminal.

This a.m. here at home (lower Queen Anne), a flock of 20+ Pine Siskins flew into a deciduous tree outside our window and fed for a while.
