On Thanksgiving morning, was surprised by a flyover WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILL at the place in n. Lake Stevens. I could only see a flyover bird, but heard the tinny, high-pitched call well, which I've encountered in the n. Cascades and especially Alaska previously.
