Today I walked at Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle and walked north to the Grain Elavator. I went to see the interesting comgregation of ducks around the cargo ship and pier. There were hundreds of Surf Scoters, and among them were Scaups and American Wigeon. I spotted the Eurasian Wigeon, but then I saw a very funny looking white duck. I wondered at first if it was an albino or a Smew when it dived. It resurfaced and I got a better view. It was a gorgeous Long-tailed Duck.
