Hello Tweeters. Today at 2 pm I saw a flock of about 15 canvasback flying and landing into a large mixed flock (1500+) of waterfowl on the water at Bob Heerman wildlife preserve south of Snohomish. I believe this might be an uncommon sighting so I posted it just in case. The weather and visibility were poor and I was without a scope. There were definitely more aythya species in the mixed flock but I could not ID them accurately, so there may have been more canvasback than the 15 I saw flying by me. Thanks.
