Greetings All

Ryan Merrill and I birded around w. Whatcom County today.

The highlight was a male Common x Barrow's Goldeneye near road's end in Blaine.

We saw about 400 Dark-eyed Juncos today (very birdy despite weather), and of those, 3 were Slate-colored and 2 appeared to be cismontanus....whatever one makes of that population. All of of the non-Oregon DE Juncos were at Lake Terrell. Out on the lake, there were 2 pairs of Redhead.

Good Birding
