Mark Vernon's long-tailed duck was still hanging out with Surf Scoters this
morning ca. 9:30 AM about the stern of a Chinese grain transport ship tied
up at the grain silos in Myrtle Edwards Park. Access is complex but there is
an elegant foot bridge over the rr tracks from Elliot Ave just north of the
silos that will get you there with a short walk. It's a male without the
long tail.
