What a terrific find. We have just one other for Skagit County, Dave Beaudette's May 29 bird at the Martin Rd access in Rockport years ago. Interestingly, we also have a Brown Thrasher entry for Skagit County, a bird seen October 14, 197(?)8, also at the Skagit WMA. The WRBC at the time rejected the record for unknown reasons; I collected full details later from the observer, who had extensive experience in the east, and his description was perfect by my reckoning. He also noted that no one ever bothered to query him on his report.

Bobolink has about five county records/reports now, with most from May. This great fall run isn't over!
