Greetings All

Perhaps, Scott, you could be so kind as to point out any possible relevance
between the current Sage Thrasher report and a Brown Thrasher report from 30
years ago.

Also, if you are wondering why that record was not accepted by the WA Bird
Records Committe, I suggest you go to Washington Birds where you can find the
answer (or you could've emailed/called me sometime during the last 15 years).
The published report of the WBRC clearly states that the Skagit Brown Thrasher
report was not accepted because the committee was unable to obtain a
description of said bird.

Thus, I wonder why you've not shared the details of Skagit Brown Thrasher in
your possession, especially as you knew that no one on the committee had been
able to contact the observer. In any case, better-late-than-never is still
true, so if you could send in that description, the BRC would be more than happy
to re-review this sighting.
