There were 9 GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE at Edmonds Marsh this
morning, up two from the seven Ted Peterson told me were there Friday
morning. Ted had a PECTORAL SANDPIPER in the marsh Thursday
morning. Two WILSON'S SNIPE were seen Friday morning and one this
morning. One of the resident adult VIRGINIA RAILS was feeding out in
the open Friday about 5:30 p.m. Good views for about five minutes.
The geese were not seen Friday evening. They appear to be morning
visitors. A pair of GADWALL also visited the marsh Friday evening.
