Special thanks to Guy McWethy for finding and posting the American Golden Plover off of M Street near Emerald Downs on Wednesday, 10/8, and to Marv Brece and Kathy Andrich for their help in relocating it yesterday afternoon, 10/11, between 4 and 5 pm.

Shortly after I arrived something spooked the shorebirds and they all flew into the muddy field to the north, with the Am.Golden Plover quickly blending into the huge field of muddy clods. Fortunately, Kathy saw where the flock landed so we followed and Marv "Eagle-eye" Brece managed to find the well concealed Plover hunkered down in the distance. Can't wait to see his photos!
