My quest to see a Parasitic Jaeger was satisfied today at Point No Point today at about 1:30pm. Cries from Bonaparte's Gulls helped draw attention to his attacks. We were slightly south of the point and he was in view for about 45 seconds heading north. An adult with beautiful tail feathers. There was a lot of action in the tidal churn off shore - a couple hundred Bonaparte's, a few Rhino Auklets and other gulls, and even Dall's Porpoises, but he did not join into that fray.

Other enjoyable birds today - a flock of Cedar Waxwings with a bunch of goofy juveniles, several Western Grebes, a few Pigeon Guillemots, a Horned Grebe, several White Winged Scoters (where have they gone?) and a Heermann's Gull.
