Hi all.I too saw a Snow Bunting Sunday, but mine was just north of Ocean
Shores out on the beach near the base of the dunes. I looked it up in
Sibley's when I got home.it appears to be a 1st winter female as the dark
leading edge of the wing is a complete line separating the white patch. Also
the color was more in keeping with the painting of the 1st winter female.



Snow Buntings don't show up here every year, and when they do we also tend
to see Snowy Owls. I will be keeping my eyes open!
