Hi Kelly,

Thanks so much for the very KIND words. I still have a lot to learn and do my best with the modest camera set up that I have. I am more of an average birder than a photographer. I still lack patience and get too excited where I tend to flush the birds.

It is amazing how much photos can add to a trip report and my primary intentions are far from selfish reasons. I really want to inspire people to go out to bird, explore, and enjoy the endless opportunities that WA offers. What an amazing state!!

There are many other Tweeters photographers who are far better than me and have inspired me thus far. I wanted to publically acknowledge Tom Munson, Joseph Higbee, John Tubbs, and Ruth Sullivan for all their inspiring work and generosity to share in capturing nature best. And, especially Ruth and Patrick Sullivan for documenting tough-to-get photos of rarites.

Good birding,

Khanh Tran (Portland, Oregon)
