A belated report from Nisqually NWR. A well described Brown Thrasher was
submitted to the WBRC. the bird was seen at the Nisqually NWR on 10/10 and
submitted to the WBRC on 10/12. There is a chance that it might still be
refound due to their skulky nature. No details are available as to a more
specific location within the refuge, except that it was dry where the bird
was observed and not swampy or marshy. If more details become available I
will send the report out on Tweeters. If you are going to Nisqually be on
the lookout for the thrasher.
