Hello tweeties,

the mystery birds continued to appear daily at 10am ET as scheduled despite the fact that i was under the weather and could not go to my coffee shop where i have internet access to update them as quickly as i wish, so you will have to refer back to this link to see the previous mystery birds and to read Rick's informative essays;

courtesy of Richard Ditch, here's today's mystery bird for you to identify;

and courtesy of Joseph Kennedy, here's yesterday's mystery bird;

if any of you have mystery birds that you'd like to share with everyone, feel free to send images or image links to me off-list.

it has also been brought to my attention that listmembers who are on digest mode are unable to participate in the mystery birds ID quiz because i only allow a 24-hour turn-around before publishing the ID. so starting today, i will lengthen this turn-around time to 48-hours on each day's mystery bird so those on digest can also participate. if the suspense on a particular bird's ID is killing you, please contact me off-list for ID confirmation.

cheers,
