Dear Tweeters,

Occasionally someone asks where to take an injured or orphaned bird. The following is a partial list of wildlife rehabilitators in the greater Puget Sound area. The list is from the 2008/2009 Compassionate Consumers Guide to Animal Services.

Also, the WDFW Wildlife Rehabilitation Line is 360-586-6129. WDFW maintains a full list of approved wildlife rehabilitators and can recommend the closest and most appropriate place to take an injured or orphaned animal for help.
