During a short morning walk on Friday saw a flock of some 15 Golden-crowned
kinglets, at least one Yellow-rumped warbler, a first-year Red Tailed hawk
and our Anna?s hummingbird who has apparently decided to spend the winter
here. All of these along with the always-present Song sparrows (one singing
an abbreviated song), Pine siskins, Golden-crowned sparrows, House and
Purple finches, and Steller?s Jays. We?re a few miles south of Port
Townsend on Rt 20.
