Another Red-tailed Hawk vote here. I compared the feather photos to the
birds in the museum. GG Owls have the typical mottled brown/brown-gray owl
feathers, certainly none that are black and white. The black and white
feather matches an outer primary on a RT Hawk. The other feathers also
match RT Hawk tail and/or wing feathers. (I'm at home now and forget exactly
which feathers they most closely matched.)

Better luck with that GG Owl next time.
