I am a fellow tweeter who was on the oregon coast last weekend and saw a murrellet washed up on the beach dying, a woman passing by said it was emaciated and it could not stand or even lift up its bill, and yet there was no obvious injury to the bird. A couple told me that they also had seen another further down the beach dead.?I would like to know if anyone has any info about why.
