Went over to Biringer Farm, visible right along/east of I-5 as you near the first Marysville exit coming north. It's part of my CBC territory for the Everett-Marysville CBC so I was curious about the sparrow accumulation to this point. Before all the pumpkin-seeking public arrived, I had a 8-sparrow day (not including junco), comprised of over 100 SONG, about 80 SAVANNAH, 30 LINCOLN'S, and average numbers of GC, WC and FOX SPARROWS. The rarities were a single SWAMP which, although silent, cooperatively perched in canary grass near the north edge as you enter (close to Ebey Slough), and a very late CHIPPING SPARROW further in. Also of note was my FOS DE (SLATE-COLORED) JUNCO. Finally, I had a audoboni type HERMIT THRUSH on the drive on return late morning.
