This summer on our property we had a pair of fledgling Great Horned Owls
that screeched loudly throughout the night and often in the day as well.

The last night we heard the screeching was September 27th, and we
assumed that the juveniles were no longer being fed and probably had
left the territory.

Then two nights ago we heard a Great Horned Owl hooting and a juvenile
screeching, and this evening at about 5:30 a juvenile began screeching
again.

How long are Great Horned Owls fed by their parents? Or is it possible
that the screeching owl is not still being fed?
