HI Tweeters I too have seen the scrub jay mentioned in the message below. The first scrub jays I saw in Renton were flying over the school bus yard at 4th & Garden in 2002. They are still there, or possibly descendants of those birds. I've seen scrub jays in yards up and down N 3rd & N 4th in Renton................they seem to be all over the place in this little corner of the world! susan anderegg at hotmail dot com >> Message: 4> Date: Sat, 18 Oct 2008 15:33:37 -0700> From: "Debra Russell" <debrarussell94 at comcast.net>> Subject: [Tweeters] re:coming to a tree near you> To: "Tweeters" <tweeters at u.washington.edu>> Message-ID: <C762C3BB961E443983CD1ADBFEBC3531 at home>> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"> > I too have been lucky enough to see at least one Scub Jay in the Renton area. It hangs out on Tobin Ave, which is the east west road behind Renton High School. There are oak trees in the area and it generally runs with a group of Starlings. But we can't hold that against him.> Debra Russell
