proving even a blind squirrel may sometimes find an acorn, i stumbled across
four wilson's snipe at sikes lake on the west side of the trestle bridge
which crosses sikes lake south to north (284th). the birds were on the
south shore fairly close to the bridge. the birds were overall dark brown
with distinct cream stripes as per sibley's guide and other stuff on the
internet.
