Yet one was seen in Kennewick as far back as 1996 when it over-wintered.
Since then they have started a small nesting group in Prosser that has been
active for at least the past 4 years. In 2005, there was also a sighting in
West Richland/Benton City.
Not many yet but they will likely increase in the Columbia Basin too.
