Last Saturday and Sunday Karen and I were among the fortunate birders
able to see the Northern Hawk Owl near Hart's Pass. It was an
absolutely terrific trip, which I have described in detail on my blog

In addition to Saturday's observation of the Northern Hawk Owl, on
Sunday we had great views of a Northern Pygmy Owl and Gray-crowned
Rosy Finches.

I'd love to advise you to look for the owl this weekend, but it may
involve a very long snowshoe trip to Meadows Campground. Anyone know
more about current conditions?
