Seattle REI at 7:00PM, as we co-host the Seattle launch of Paul
Bannick's new book, ?The Owl and The Woodpecker: Encounters with North
America's Most Iconic Birds.? Paul is BirdNote?s official photographer,
and he?ll be available to sign copies of his book.

?The Owl and The Woodpecker? is a comprehensive photographic study of
all 41 species of North American owls and woodpeckers. Please join us
tonight as Paul shares images, stories, and natural history information
about these birds, ranging from those as common as Great Horned Owls and
Northern Flickers, to ones as rare as Ferruginous Pygmy-Owls, Spotted
Owls, and Red-cockaded Woodpeckers.
