Around 8:40 am today my wife spotted a Northern Saw-whet Owl on the
Seattle University Campus at the Broadway entrance. Fortunately I was
able to get there in time to see it trying to rest while a couple
Anna's Hummingbirds pestered it. It was in a small deciduous tree
about 5 feet off the ground and we got great daytime looks at it.
Hopefully it's a tough urban owl that doesn't mind people.
