Charlie's post is of interest because I too have wondered about Broad-wings on the n. Olympic Peninsula, and it
seems a bit odd that we seem to have just a single fall report for Clallam, one Dave Beaudette had years ago (fide
'ol Bob), and if anyone out there in Tweeterland knows of others, feel free to chime in here.

I've often thought too that Salt Creek in late Sept-early Oct ought to be the place, given (as this year) the regular
reports from s. VI. One problem it seems is that Salt Creek isn't covered as regularly as the s. VI hot spots, but then
I haven't looked at Dianne's recent TuVu reports, perhaps people are out at Salt Creek regularly at that time. Given
CA reports also, it seems like birds must be passing through undetected on a regular basis.

For comparison, Skagit County also has a single fall (Sept) report, from the extreme eastern section, and at high
elevation, a few years ago.
