My son and wife (lucky them!) spotted an apparently beautiful peregrine
falcon sitting on the roof of the church at the SE corner of Brooklyn and
47th St Saturday morning at about 11:15. They noticed it because all the
local pigeons had, ahem, flown the coop.

U-District birders might maybe keep their eyes open the next few days!
