Hi,
I could not think of a better place to request information about purchasing snow shoes for myself.
I rented an inexpensive pair last year, and they were very noisy. Maybe that is just how they all are, but that definitely scares away the birds.
I have looked online for information, and am now even more confused. I don't want a really expensive pair, and I don't know why they would have snow shoes for women, unless they are for small feet (MINE ARE NOT)~~~~
At any rate, if any of you out there know of a good place to find information, about reasonably priced shoes, even used ones, I would appreciate it.
Just what brands are really better, vs. which are just more expensive, and not better, what to look for, that sort of thing.

Thanks a bunch,
