Hi, Tweets

Charlie's comment about broadwings crossing the Strait of Juan de
Fuca and ending up at Salt Creek County Park has always been one of
our wishes while on turkey vulture watch. Unfortunately, even though
we have been aware of the Vancouver Island broadwings, we have never
seen a broadwing from the Salt Creek site and we've been watching
most of 17 years. Maybe they go earlier than the turkey vultures, but
I doubt it.

Neat birds. I used to get thousands from my hawkwatch in New
Hampshire years back.

Cheers, Diann
