The general appearance of the bird makes it likely Sharp-shinned. I
have NEVER seen such skinny, and long, legs on a Cooper's -- the
reason it's called a "sharp-shinned" is because of that sharp edge to
front of the tarsi. That and the overall thin, tall, narrowness of
the bird overall should cinch it to sharpie; however, I don't know
about the tufts along flanks, whether or not amount might help. Hope
